Planning your wedding isn’t always easy, but it is worth it. Before you do anything else, picture your wedding in your head. Where is it going to take place? What is the theme? How formal is it going to be? Do you want a small, simple wedding or do you want a big, extravagant one? These are all things you need to think about before you start planning anything.

Next, you need to choose a date. Before you pick the date, however, you need to think about how long it will take to get everything planned out and ready. You also need to set a budget. You need a function budget that also has some flexibility. Reserve the reception and wedding places as soon as possible.

Set aside a time to meet with your wedding officiant and go over all the rules for the ceremony. Select all the guests for your wedding and make sure you have enough space for everyone. Also, when you plan the food, make sure there is enough for all of the guests. If you have a limited budget, you may need to cut back on how many people you invite.

Along with the wedding, plan any parties before the wedding as well as the honeymoon and include these in your budget. You will also need to hire some people such as the photographer, wedding coordinator, entertainment, florist, caterer, etc. Keep a positive attitude and be kind to each other.  Planning a wedding can be very stressful.
