How to get engaged is a thought most husbands-to-be entertain at least once before popping the question to the love of their life. There are as many ways as there are brides, but being creative and thinking out of the box is a current trend.
Do some window shopping. Look through the selection of engagement rings to get an idea of what she likes. It would be best to buy the rings first because it would be a disappointing proposal if it isn’t there. It can still be a surprise if the shopping is done nonchalantly and well before the asking; at least two months.Â
Here are a couple of ideas, and don’t be afraid to create new ones:
- Organize a flash mob dance in a mall or a park; they will do it for free. While she’s still enthralled in the dancing, get the ring out. At a certain point (previously arranged) in the song the dancers all freeze, pointing at you. She’ll look at you and then you go down on one knee. After she says yes, place that Robbins Brothers engagement ring on her finger and kiss her, and the flash mob can cheer and throw birdseed or confetti.
- First, call her boss to see if it‘s possible, then go to a costumer and get some knight’s armor, and rent a horse to ride in on, and show up ‘unexpectedly’ at her job. After she says yes, swing her up on that horse and ride away with her. Everyone there will envy her.
There are lots of ways to ask her. Use some imagination and creativity.
